A Legacy of Investment in Youth
The GIFTED Scholarship was established in 2017. In 2020, it became the GEEM Scholarship in memory of several GIFTED Executive Board Members: Greyland Banks, Earl Rice, Eric Cummings, and Gladys Mathis.
The GEEM Scholarship will be awarded annually to a youth who demonstrates academic achievement, community involvement, and leadership to assist in furthering their post-secondary education.

Past Scholarship Recipients
Steve Moore
An outstanding musician with skills to play multiple instruments. GIFTED gave Steve additional exposure to cultivate his gift.
Kayla Summy
Grew in leaps and bounds in the GIFTED program, receiving the confidence needed to further her musical skills in college.
Isaac Fullerton
An extremely talented young man who took full advantage of everything GIFTED had to offer. He is attending college today.
Christopher Randolph
Had a passion for trumpet and worked with GIFTED to develop his skills. Now pursuing a college minor in Jazz as a trumpet musician.
